Using InDesign for Web Design
The easy path from printed media to the Web

InDesign is a program that is widely known to graphic designers as a magnificent tool for creating print designs and for pagination. Its evolution, though, the past few years allows us to also use it as a tool for web design. Working with the program we can create drafts that allow us to show our clients or our developer partners how we would like the final website to be. In this workshop we are going to use the full extend of the programs capabilities and learn how to use certain tools and panels like liquid layout, animation, multiple object states, buttons, etc. Also, we are going to see how to create wireframes and prototypes that will allow us to demonstrate how the final site will function. The workshop is addressed to designers that have a functional knowledge of the program and want to learn how to extend their knowledge also in the area of designing web pages using InDesign. The participants must bring their own laptops with the newest possible version of InDesign installed, so that they can practice and apply the techniques to be taught during the course.
