In the documentary “Graphic Stories: Destination”, we reveal the evolution of Graphic Stories over the past 10 years. Through interviews with key figures who have left their mark on Graphic Stories—such as David Carson, Julia Kahl, Rob Snow, Yossi Lemel, Kostas Mantzalos, Panos Vasileiou, Harris Tsevis, Vasilis Vassiliadis, Michalis Antonopoulos, Stefanos Karagkos, Dionysis Dionysiou, Eirini Gonou, Artemis Roussos, and Apostolis Kouroupakis—as well as the organizers Angeliki Athanasiadi and Miltos Karras, we highlight the most significant moments throughout the years, the challenges faced, and the diversity that characterizes the world of Graphic Stories.
Graphic Stories is not just a conference but a multidimensional experience that transcends the borders of Cyprus. Its posters and activities have brought a wider community in contact with its creations, extending its cultural richness to cities such as Dubai, Barcelona, Warsaw, Moscow, Thessaloniki, Patras, Athens, and Yantai in China. Over its ten-year journey, Graphic Stories has placed Cyprus on the global map of visual communication, enhancing the country’s cultural and artistic role. The documentary showcases not only the evolution but also the resilience of Graphic Stories in the face of challenges. Moments that could have been obstacles are met with determination, while initiatives promoting social awareness are evident throughout its decade-long path.
Titled “Graphic Stories: Destination”, the documentary serves as an inspiration for everyone, especially young people, to never give up in the face of difficulties and to invest in their dreams regardless of the obstacles they encounter.
The documentary was selected and screened at the Chalkida Documentary Festival 2024, receiving very positive feedback from the audience.
Graphic Stories reminds us that the power of creativity starts from one idea and one pencil. As long as there is inspiration, the possibilities are limitless.

Στο ντοκιμαντέρ “Graphic Stories: Destination”, αποκαλύπτουμε την εξέλιξη του Graphic Stories κατά τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια. Μέσω των συνεντεύξεων σημαντικών προσωπικοτήτων του χώρου, που άφησαν το αποτύπωμά τους στο Graphic Stories, όπως οι David Carson, Julia Kahl, Rob Snow, Yossi Lemel, Κώστας Μάντζαλος, Πάνος Βασιλείου, Χάρης Τσέβης, Βασίλης Βασιλειάδης, Μιχάλης Αντωνόπουλος, Στέφανος Καράγκος, Διονύσης Διονυσίου, Ειρήνη Γκόνου, Αρτέμης Ρούσος και Αποστόλης Κουρουπάκης, καθώς και των διοργανωτών Αγγελικής Αθανασιάδη και Μίλτου Καρρά, αναδεικνύουμε τις πιο σημαντικές στιγμές όλων των ετών, τις προκλήσεις και την πολυμορφία που χαρακτηρίζουν τον κόσμο του Graphic Stories.
Το Graphic Stories δεν είναι απλώς ένα συνέδριο, αλλά μια πολυδιάστατη εμπειρία που ξεπερνά τα σύνορα της Κύπρου. Το ταξίδι των αφισών και των δράσεών του φέρνει μια ευρύτερη κοινότητα σε επαφή με τις δημιουργίες του, επεκτείνοντας τον πολιτισμικό πλούτο του σε πόλεις όπως το Ντουμπάι, η Βαρκελώνη, η Βαρσοβία, η Μόσχα, η Θεσσαλονίκη, η Πάτρα, η Αθήνα και η Yantai στην Κίνα. Μέσα από τη δεκαετή του πορεία, το Graphic Stories έχει τοποθετήσει την Κύπρο στον παγκόσμιο χάρτη της οπτικής επικοινωνίας, ενισχύοντας τον πολιτιστικό και καλλιτεχνικό ρόλο της χώρας. Το ντοκιμαντέρ προβάλλει όχι μόνο την εξέλιξη αλλά και την αντοχή του Graphic Stories απέναντι σε προκλήσεις. Στιγμές που θα μπορούσαν να αποτελέσουν εμπόδια αντιμετωπίζονται με αποφασιστικότητα, ενώ οι πρωτοβουλίες που προωθούν την κοινωνική ευαισθησία είναι εμφανείς σε κάθε στιγμή της δεκαετούς πορείας.
Με τον τίτλο “Graphic Stories: Destination”, το ντοκιμαντέρ αποτελεί ένα κίνητρο για όλους, κυρίως για τους νέους, να μην παραιτούνται στις δυσκολίες και να επενδύουν στα όνειρά τους ανεξαρτήτως των εμποδίων που θα συναντήσουν.
Το ντοκιμαντέρ επιλέχθηκε και προβλήθηκε στο Φεστιβάλ Ντοκιμαντέρ Χαλκίδας 2024, αποσπώντας ιδιαίτερα θετικά σχόλια από κοινό.
Το Graphic Stories μάς υπενθυμίζει ότι η δύναμη της δημιουργικότητας ξεκινά από μία ιδέα και ένα μολύβι. Όσο υπάρχει έμπνευση, οι δυνατότητες είναι απεριόριστες.
