“Tolerance” the 6th International Poster Exhibition by Graphic Stories, traveled to Barcelona


The 6th International Poster Exhibition “TOLERANCE”, by Graphic Stories travels to Barcelona and is held and hosted in collaboration with Col·legi Oficial de Disseny Gràfic de Catalunya. Many thanks for the hospitality dear Jesús Del Hoyo Arjona & codgc team!

30 posters were on display and all 67 posters – were presented via video at the Col·legi Oficial de Disseny Gràfic de Catalunya from 1 to 30 April 2022.

The 6th International Poster Exhibition of Graphic Stories Cyprus titled “Tolerance” was present at the 8th ICTVC, International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication, held from 5 to 9 July 2022, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

ICTVC #7, Patras, Greece

The 3rd International Poster Exhibition of Graphic Stories Cyprus titled “Graphic Design: Challenging the Perception” was presented at the 7th ICTVC, International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication, held from 17 to 21 June 2019 in Patras, Greece.
 
The 7th ICTVC was organized by the Institute for the Study and Research of Typography and Visual Communication in collaboration with the Library and Information Center of the University of Patras and was supported by important academic and professional bodies and associations. With more than 100 speakers and workshop organizers from 30 different countries and a significant number of exhibitions and events, it attracted a large number of students, professional designers, researchers, historians and theorists of visual communication and typographic design from around the world.

Kosygin State University of Russia

The 1st International Poster Exhibition of Graphic Stories Cyprus titled “Writing, the Origins of Civilization” traveled to Moscow, Russia, where it was hosted by the Moscow State University of Design and Technology, Kosygin, one of the largest and most historic university institutions in Russia.

This initiative aimed to encourage networking between designers in Cyprus and the rest of the world, giving them the opportunity to promote their work outside the island, in a space of international prestige and global visibility. The duration of the exhibition from 7-21 December 2018 attracted a large number of people, provoking the lively interest of the art-loving public.

American University in the Emirates, Dubai

12.11.2019

The American University in Emirates, in Dubai, invited the team of Graphic Stories Cyprus to conduct an art poster workshop with the students of the University. The workshop took place on November 12, 2019 within the framework of the 5th International Design Conference “Semiotics visual metaphor + design”.

The students were invited to create an artistic poster with the theme of the 4th International Poster Contest of Graphic Stories Cyprus “Cultural Heritage: One world. One Future”. The workshop was attended by two groups of ten people and two posters measuring 250x90cm were created which were also hosted at the 4th International Poster Exhibition of Graphic Stories Cyprus, as part of the 6th Conference that was held in March 2020.
