WEEKEND, JULY 18-19TH
Creative Workshops for Adults and Children

On Saturday, 18 July, from 11:00 to 13:00, the workshop “Audiovisual Epigram: An Everlasting Farewell” will take place at Palia Ilektriki, led by Aristarchos Papadaniel. The workshop draws inspiration from the ancient art of epigrammatic poetry and explores the connection between the visible and the invisible, loss, memory and storytelling. Participants will creatively approach thoughts, images and emotions that have not yet been expressed, transforming personal memory into audiovisual expression.
On the same day, from 11:00 to 13:00, the children’s workshop “Poetry Becomes a Poster” will take place at En Plo Gallery, led by Angeliki Athanasiadi and Eirini Karotsi. The workshop is designed for children and is inspired by the theme of the international poster exhibition “Poetry Speaks Loud”. Children will be guided through the exhibition space, observe selected posters and discover how poetry, words and emotions can be transformed into images. They will then create their own poster, inspired by what they have seen and experienced.
On Sunday, 19 July, from 11:00 to 13:00, the experiential workshop “Art Empowerment”, titled “Self-Awareness through Poetry and Creativity”, will take place at En Plo Gallery, led by Angeliki Athanasiadi. It is a workshop of creative expression and self-awareness, using art, poetry, words and image as tools for personal empowerment, inner connection and free expression.
No previous experience in painting, drawing or creative practice is required for participation in the workshops. Materials are provided by the organisers, while workshop participants will receive a special kit including a bag, notebook / sketchbook and pen.
Places in the workshops are limited and reservation is required.
International Poster Exhibition “Poetry Speaks Loud”

On Saturday, 18 July, at 19:00, the opening of the international poster exhibition “Poetry Speaks Loud” will take place at En Plo Gallery.
The exhibition presents 104 posters by creators from around the world, who were invited to visualise poetry and give form to verses, emotions and poetic voices that inspired them.
Each poster is a personal interpretation of poetry, a dialogue between word and image, language, typography, colour and composition. Through different cultures, aesthetics and visual languages, the exhibition creates a global mosaic of visual poetry.
The exhibition will run from 18 July to 2 August 2026. Admission to the opening and the exhibition is free.
