A creative workshop for children, inspired by the theme of the international poster exhibition “Poetry Speaks Loud”.

At the beginning of the workshop, the children will be guided through the exhibition space and introduced to selected posters by creators from around the world. Through observing the works, they will discover how poetry, words, emotions and ideas can be transformed into image, colour, shape and composition.

Then, drawing inspiration from what they saw and discussed in the exhibition, the children will create their own poster, giving visual form to their own thought, word or poetic idea. The aim of the workshop is for children to come into contact with the poster as a means of expression, to be inspired by art and poetry, to observe, discuss and create freely.

No previous experience in painting or creative work is required.
