Graphic Stories 2025 | Pafos, 18-20 July
This year, Pafos will host the 11th edition of Graphic Stories, a three-day event dedicated to creativity, innovation, and cultural outreach, from the 18th to the 20th of July 2025.
For 11 years, this international institution has been highlighting visual communication, social design, and creative thinking. The event returns with an enriched program of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions.
This year’s event is held with the support of the Municipality of Pafos and is co-organized with the Petrideion Foundation, reinforcing the creative collaboration between cultural institutions and organizations in the city.
The Petrideion Foundation is a charitable organization with an active presence in the fields of sports, education, and culture in Pafos, supporting actions with social and cultural impact.
The official opening of the event will take place on Friday, July 18, at 16:00, at Attikon venue in Pafos.
Opening remarks will be delivered by:
- Mr. Giorgos Pitros, President of the Committee for Culture and Education of the Municipality of Pafos
- Mr. Pantelis Evangelou, Member of the Board of Directors of the Petrides Foundation, representing this year’s co-organizer
- Ms. Christina Papamiltiaou, Public Relations Officer at the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) and ICDL Cyprus, representing the long-standing supporter of the institution, the Cyprus Computer Society
International Speakers & Inspiring Lectures
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy eight insightful talks by renowned professionals and academics:

- Onur Yazicigil
- Irini Gonou
- Babis Schoinas
- Adam Reeves
- Constantinos Pissourios
The lecture themes will explore typography, calligraphy, artificial intelligence, publishing, and the business dimension of design.
Additionally, the Organization for European Programs and Cultural Relations (OEPCR), represented by assistant officers Margarita Ioannou and Nikos Georgoudis, will present funding opportunities through the EU “Creative Europe” program.
Following the lectures, the documentary “Graphic Stories: Destination” will be screened—a visual journey through the history and philosophy of the non-profit organization Graphic Stories Cyprus.

International Poster Exhibition “TREE & ME”
Graphic Stories 2025 x Calanca Biennale
At the heart of this year’s festival is the International Poster Exhibition “TREE & ME”, accompanied by an Interactive Installation, in collaboration with the Calanca Biennale (Switzerland). The exhibition explores the timeless relationship between humans and trees as symbols of life, growth, and solidarity, featuring 60 designers from 23 countries.

On Saturday night, an artistic party will follow with reggae music selections by DJ Haji Mike, blending music, poetry, and visual expression.
