What is Art Empowerment?
Art Empowerment is an experiential method that uses art as a tool for personal growth, self-awareness, and inner connection. Through creative processes, each participant is invited to express emotions, discover their inner strengths, and reflect on their personal journey — with authenticity and without judgment.
Learning Outcomes
Through a hands-on and symbolic approach, combining art, reflection, words, and dialogue:
- We will explore how poetry can give voice to thoughts and emotions
- We will create our own personal visual expression inspired by feelings
- We will express aspects of our personal journey through color.
- We will share (if we wish) stories, images, and words from our inner world
Why “Poetry Speaks Loud”?
What remains unspoken within us? Which words carry our emotions, memories, and truths? In “Poetry Speaks Loud”, we will use art and poetic expression as a way to explore our inner voice — discovering the feelings, values, experiences, and personal meanings that shape who we are.
Workshop Objectives
- To enhance self-awareness
- To recognize the words, emotions, and experiences that give us strength
- To express ourselves freely and creatively, without judgment
- To connect with ourselves and the group through art-making and reflection
Who is it for?
Open to all adults who wish to dedicate time to themselves, explore their personal symbolism, and express themselves creatively through art, words, and reflection.

Τι είναι το Art Empowerment;
Το Art Empowerment είναι μια βιωματική μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιεί την τέχνη ως εργαλείο προσωπικής ανάπτυξης, αυτογνωσίας και εσωτερικής σύνδεσης. Μέσα από δημιουργικές διαδικασίες, κάθε συμμετέχων καλείται να εκφράσει συναισθήματα, να ανακαλύψει τις εσωτερικές του δυνάμεις και να αναστοχαστεί πάνω στην προσωπική του διαδρομή — με αυθεντικότητα και χωρίς κριτική.
Μαθησιακά αποτελέσματα
Μέσα από μια πρακτική και συμβολική προσέγγιση, που συνδυάζει την τέχνη, τον αναστοχασμό, τις λέξεις και τον διάλογο:
- Θα εξερευνήσουμε πώς η ποίηση μπορεί να δώσει φωνή σε σκέψεις και συναισθήματα.
- Θα δημιουργήσουμε τη δική μας προσωπική οπτική έκφραση, εμπνευσμένη από συναισθήματα.
- Θα εκφράσουμε πτυχές της προσωπικής μας διαδρομής μέσα από το χρώμα.
- Θα μοιραστούμε, εφόσον το επιθυμούμε, ιστορίες, εικόνες και λέξεις από τον εσωτερικό μας κόσμο.
Γιατί “Poetry Speaks Loud”;
Τι μένει ανείπωτο μέσα μας; Ποιες λέξεις κουβαλούν τα συναισθήματα, τις μνήμες και τις αλήθειες μας; Στο “Poetry Speaks Loud”, θα χρησιμοποιήσουμε την τέχνη και την ποιητική έκφραση ως τρόπο εξερεύνησης της εσωτερικής μας φωνής — ανακαλύπτοντας τα συναισθήματα, τις αξίες, τις εμπειρίες και τα προσωπικά νοήματα που διαμορφώνουν αυτό που είμαστε.
Στόχοι του εργαστηρίου
- Να ενισχύσει την αυτογνωσία.
- Να αναγνωρίσουμε τις λέξεις, τα συναισθήματα και τις εμπειρίες που μας δίνουν δύναμη.
- Να εκφραστούμε ελεύθερα και δημιουργικά, χωρίς κριτική.
- Να συνδεθούμε με τον εαυτό μας και με την ομάδα μέσα από την καλλιτεχνική δημιουργία και τον αναστοχασμό.
Σε ποιους απευθύνεται;
Απευθύνεται σε όλους τους ενήλικες που επιθυμούν να αφιερώσουν χρόνο στον εαυτό τους, να εξερευνήσουν τους προσωπικούς τους συμβολισμούς και να εκφραστούν δημιουργικά μέσα από την τέχνη, τις λέξεις και τον αναστοχασμό.

Visual Communication Designer / Academic / Poster Designer / Author / Founder & Creative Director of the NGO “Graphic Stories” / Co-founding Member of WIDA
Aggeliki Athanasiadi is a Visual Communication Designer holding an MA (Hons) in Branding from Middlesex University of London. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Graphic Stories Cyprus, the international conference and festival on visual communication, and Co-founder of the Design Forum – 10′ Design Talks. She is the author of the award-winning book “Graphic Stories – Γραφιστορίες”, teaches at the American University of Cyprus, is a certified trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA), and a Therapeutic Art Life Coach, focusing on empowerment through art.
She is a co-founding member of WIDA – the World Industrial Design Association, and since 2016 has participated in over 150 international poster exhibitions. She has been distinguished with Pygmalion Awards, the Cyprus Responsible Business Awards 2023, and the Study UK Alumni Award 2025 by the British Council in the category Culture & Creativity Award Cyprus. In 2025, she also designed the official Cyprus stamp for EUROPA 2025. She is the producer of the documentary “Graphic Stories: Destinat10n”, which follows the journey and challenges of Graphic Stories and has been screened at international festivals, including the 18th Greek Documentary Festival DocFest and the World Industrial Design Conference 2024 (WIDC), highlighting the power of creativity and social awareness.
Her work is exhibited at the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, Yale
University, and she has presented works and talks in China, Poland, Russia, UAE, Spain, and Greece.

Η Αγγελική Αθανασιάδη είναι Σχεδιάστρια Οπτικής Επικοινωνίας, κάτοχος MA (Hons) in Branding από το Middlesex University of London. Είναι Ιδρύτρια και Creative Director του Graphic Stories Cyprus, του διεθνούς συνεδρίου και φεστιβάλ οπτικής επικοινωνίας, καθώς και συνιδρύτρια του Design Forum – 10′ Design Talks. Το έργο της εκτίθεται στο Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage του Yale University, ενώ έχει παρουσιάσει έργα και ομιλίες στην Κίνα, την Πολωνία, τη Ρωσία, τα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα, την Ισπανία και την Ελλάδα.
